Vizient, Inc. Awards National Contract to PDC Healthcare for Patient ID Bands
Valencia, CA (February 27, 2018) – Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC Healthcare), a global leader in healthcare identification and patient safety solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a three-year group purchasing contract with Vizient, Inc., the largest member-driven health care performance improvement company in the country. The national contract is effective May 1, 2018 and includes the entire portfolio of PDC Healthcare patient identification wristbands, such as laser and thermal printable wristbands, color-coded alert wristbands and snaps, mother-infant wristbands, insert card wristbands, short-stay wristbands, and blood bands. Used as a primary patient identification tool throughout the continuum of care, PDC Healthcare wristbands help organizations reduce medical errors, improve patient safety, and adopt best practices to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies, including the Joint Commission.
PDC Healthcare was also awarded a contract to supply patient identification wristbands for Novaplus®, Vizient’s private-label brand for members that offers value and quality on a wide range of high-demand products.
